The Lemoore Police Department and volunteers stopped at a few houses on Monday to deliver Christmas presents to underprivileged children in the community.
Every year, the police department’s Presents on Patrol program is given names of kids from local elementary schools and places them on the department’s Christmas tree for officers to pick names and buy presents for the children.
This year, the program helped about 30 kids get presents for Christmas.
